IN THE SUMMER OF 2004 the past members of End of Life (Ruben, Matthew & Philippe) were looking for a new recruit to complete the band with aggressive vocals. Miguel showed up and immediatly changed End of Life into: INVICTRIUS. We all decided to make more Death Metal than the previous Old School Black sounded music. So we gave birth to some new songs and rewrote the old ones. After a year we were ready to perform our first show at the Frontline and at that point Thomas contacted us after hearing our music. From then on he became our lead 7 string violator. Again we rewrote the old songs and evolved into more technical music. Because of that fact Invictrius deceided to part ways with Philippe. The band needed to move on and this was the best decision we had to make. More and more, everything positively changed but we were incomplete again.
IN THE SUMMER OF 2005 we recorded The Butchers Art at underground Studio 13. CCR handled and finished the rest of the job and after ups and downs it released in February 2006. Still without a bassplayer we searched for new talent. We needed an experienced musician and our friend Jonathan (ex-Tronius Mind) quickly found his way to the butchering and now made INVICTRIUS complete.
FRIDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2007 The day we recorded one promosong called Hunting Horrified Screams at the Max's Studio's Bruges. Production done by Peter Itterbeke (Ex-Channel Zero member).
